Managing your Property

Property Investment Hull

One of the fears that new landlords have is that investing in property is a high maintenance activity. Sorting out requests from tenants at unsociable hours, responding to maintenance calls and dealing with poor rent payers can seem a daunting task at first. As your portfolio grows this headache can multiply.

We can take this headache away.

Managing a property relies on getting a lot of things right

Property Investment HullRelationship with the tenant

We provide a friendly (but fair) face to all the tenants that we look after. We are on first name terms with clients. We base our approach on looking after them but make it clear that we are our landlords representative in all cases.

Striking the right balance between friendliness and being professional often encourages tenants to extend their tenancy and of course provides landlords with the comfort that we are acting in their best interests at all times.

Efficient and effective response

Property Investment HullIf your tenants do need to contact us we usually receive calls in office hours, but we do also take calls out of normal working hours on special emergency numbers. Tenants feel like they have someone to call if ever they need help.

If repairs or emergency work needs to be done we instruct one of our tradesmen to respond. Their rates are fair and we ensure that their work up to scratch.

Putting the landlord first

Being in constant contact with tenants causes our relationship with them to strengthen. It is not uncommon for poor management agents to form a closer bond with the tenants than with the landlord. However we never forget who is paying our fees and we always put our landlords first.
